Examples of Exercises

At Pace 'n' Go, we like to keep you interested, stimulated, and looking forward to your next session.

In order to keep you wanting more sweat, we use different training systems and activities. Below are some examples of exercises:

Knee to elbow press

It's a press up with added gain (and a little more pain)

Great for strengthening chest, arms, and core abdominals.

The added knee lift works the hip flexors, making the lower abs, and hip area look sexy!

Only attempt if strong enough to do full press ups (not off your knees!) and have no lower back problems.

Medicine Ball Balance Crunch

Abs with a difference. The added weight of the med ball means your major core area has to work harder.

Placing the ball to balance on the legs means you have to crunch further and for longer.

...so you should get those wash board abs sooner.

Just remember to keep your lower back flat and always breathe out on the way up.

One-Armed Snatch

This is a hard core exercise, requiring strength, coordination and balance.

A snatch is an Olympic lift you see weight lifters perform. This modification uses weight in one arm only.

It is an all over body exercise. If performed correctly, it strengthens your legs, lower back, buttocks, core, arms, and shoulders.

Using only one arm stresses the core system further, and means the exercise can be performed without an Olympic bar; and at less of a risk

Swiss Ball Push Outs

These are one of the hardest ab exercises you can do! Not for the faint hearted or those with weak cores.

You must keep your belly pulled in while pushing the ball out and drawing it back.

Using your entire core, this killer exercise will tone your tummy to look as good as Wayne's!

Hamstring Curls on the Ball

A great way to strengthen and tone the back of the legs, while also using the bottom, calves and abdominals.

...it's like getting four for the price of one!

Remember to keep the hips up, and the abs pulled in. Perform slowly and under control for maximum impact.

Tricep Dips

Tones the back of the arms...aka the bingo wings on ladies, and give guys that added arm definition.

Try the exercise with a partner - it's more fun! And the slightly unstable knee surface means shoulder stability is also brought into the exercise.
