Wayne Gordon
Wayne is a dynamic, charismatic, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who portrays a real passion for the job he does. He first gained his physical education and personal training qualifications whilst serving with the Armed Forces. He later left the Army and pursued a career with the Physical Education Branch of the Metropolitan Police. Since then, Wayne has begun the process of studying and increasing his knowledge of Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation, Fitness, and Health management. His position within the physical education branch involves working alongside the physiotherapists at the Police College where the set up within the department allows him as an Exercise and Rehabilitation Therapist to assist in sustaining the operational effectiveness of the police service by assisting in the accelerated return to duty.
Wayne is currently studying at Middlesex University in Sports Rehabilitation, Injury Prevention and Strength and Conditioning. Other qualifications gained are:

Sporting Success
Wayne's life long love of sports has seen him competing in football, cross country, judo, boxing, Olympic wrestling and athletics in various disciplines at club and county level. More impressively, over the last 8 years Wayne has represented Great Britain in Bobsleigh at both World and European championships- he has also competed for the police at National level in basketball, volleyball and athletics.
Personal Training / Coaching
Wayne has gained experience in coaching children in football, fitness and athletics. He has also had the pleasure of structuring strength and conditioning courses for elite athletes (sprinters and weight lifters), and the UK police Basketball and Volleyball Teams. Wayne is also a key figure courses developed for police fitness instructors.
Seminars and Lectures
Other areas of expertise include lecturing in Back care at work projects, Healthy Lifestyle, Physical Activities, Manual Handling and First Aid. Wayne is experienced in lecturing to small or large groups and as had a wealth of experience in public speaking on behalf of the Physical Education Department and Pace 'n' Go to schools and the general public.
